Driving Directions

From the South on I-5:  [Note: maybe not the shortest route but the easiest]

Take the Commercial Street exit. Follow Commercial Street all the way into Salem. Commercial will split into 2 one way streets (Liberty goes North, Commercial goes South). At the split you will jog 1 block over to Liberty. Follow Liberty to Marion Street (just past Rite Aid). Turn left and get into the 2nd to the left lane. This will put you in the leftmost lane going over the bridge. Stay in that lane. You will go left at the fork and that will put you onto Hwy 22. Take the first exit (Rosemont/Capital Manor). Turn left onto Edgewater and go to the end and turn right up the driveway (just before you go back up onto Hwy 22). Take the first driveway to the left. That will put you on the south side of Capital Manor and that is where you will enter the facilty. Park in the parking lot across from the "tower" building.

From the North on I-5

Take the Salem Parkway exit (Exit 260A). Go about 5 miles into Salem (the road name will change to Commercial when it becomes one-way). Just past the signal where Front Street comes in from the right (across from DeLon Honda), get into the second to the right lane. Turn right onto the Marion Street bridge. You will go left at the fork and that will put you onto Hwy 22. Take the first exit (Rosemont/Capital Manor). Turn left onto Edgewater and go to the end and turn right up the driveway (just before Edgewater goes back up onto Hwy 22). Take the first driveway to the left. That will put you on the south side of Capital Manor and that is where you will enter the facilty. Park in the parking lot across from the "tower" building.

From Albany via Corvallis

Go to Hwy 99W in Corvallis and go north (right if you're coming from Albany). Go until you come to Hwy 22 (signal) - 26 miles. Turn right and go 7.8 miles and take the right exit (to West Salem/Edgewater St.). At the bottom of the exit, turn left and stop. Proceed straight across the street and up the driveway. Take the first driveway to the left. That will put you on the south side of Capital Manor and that is where you will enter the facilty. Park in the parking lot across from the "tower" building.

From Albany (the "back way")

Go across the bridge to North Albany and proceed on Hwy 20 until you come to Independence Hwy (landmark: cement block building). Turn right and drive until you come to the Salem-Dallas Hwy 22 (this is a nice drive for a nice day, winding through farm country - a few miles before you get to Independence you will encounter a number of 90 degree turns so use caution - at Independence you will come to a stop sign but proceed on after stopping). Turn right on Hwy 22 and go about 5 miles. Take the right exit (to West Salem/Edgewater St.). At the bottom of the exit, turn left and stop. Proceed straight across the street and up the driveway. Take the first driveway to the left. That will put you on the south side of Capital Manor and that is where you will enter the facilty. Park in the parking lot across from the "tower" building.
