REHEARSAL/CONCERT SCHEDULE

REHEARSAL/CONCERT SCHEDULE FOR WILLAMETTE VALLEY CONCERT BAND: 2007-08 All rehearsals at SAHS unless otherwise noted. We are trying a new arrangement for sectionals this year. Rather than taking a full 2 hours for sectionals, we will have them for first hour followed by a full band rehearsal for the 2nd hour. This arrangement seemed to work very well this spring when we tried it as it allowed us to work on specific pieces in a smaller group and then combine them all together away in the 2nd hour. SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

May 7: Full band in band room both hours
May 14: Full band in band room both hours MMS
May 21: Sousa Spectacular Patriotic Memorial Day Concert at Capital Manor, West Salem, 7 PM
May 25: Sousa Spectacular Patriotic Memorial Day Concert at LaSells Stewart Center, Oregon State University, 7 PM
May 28: Full band in band room both hours
June 4: Sectionals 1st hour—full band 2nd hour
June 11: Full band both hours: SAHS
June 18: Full band both hours: MMS
June 25: Full band both hours: MMS
July 2: Summer Concert at Monmouth City Park in Monmouth 7 PM
July 6: Summer Concert at Monteith Park, Albany, 7 PM
July 7: Summer Concert at Ralston Park, Lebanon, 6:30 PM
