Halloween Concert: Myth & Mystery

Join the Willamette Valley Concert Band at Ashbrook Independent School on Saturday, October 25th for an afternoon of thrills and chills in music!

The fun begins at 2:00 pm with a children’s haunted house created by Ashbrook students, followed by the concert at 3:00 pm. The band will bring to life some of the most iconic and haunting works ever written, including The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Night on Bald Mountain, selections from Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, and John Williams’ Jaws. Other favorites include Danse Bacchanale, Danse Macabre, and In the Hall of the Mountain King. Audience members are encouraged to dress in costume!

From spooky classics to cinematic soundscapes, this free concert is the perfect way to celebrate the season with family and friends.
